In Wisconsin, near the beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan, the Coley family manages a farm called Kerith (Care-eth). Image of Kerith Llamas south female pasture by Ronna CohenIn 1994, without prior animal husbandry experience, we began a llama farm. Our mission was to diligently and purposefully study llama pedigrees, phenotypes and histories, obtaining the best known genetic pools possible for our growing herd. In paying attention to detail, Kerith has studied and chosen from the best of the famous Patterson Ranch in Oregon. Our breeding program crosses famous llama lines and continues to produce the stately, stretchy class of the Patterson llama, right here in Wisconsin. We not only want to have "keeper" llamas, but we want to produce "keeper" llamas for others to own and enjoy. Our llama farm has turned into a fun family business who's breeding program is continuing the timeless classic llama, adding today's potential, and cria-ting  tomorrow's contemporary illustrious llama of  prominence.

We combine this top genetic pool with a vivacious appetite to always seek out the latest llama information on health care, nutrition, herd & pasture management. Kerith has a growing "library" of llama books, E-mail addresses, as well as good "old fashioned" friendships. We LOVE to talk llamas and continue to learn and share information with others.

A fun family business for the Kerith Crew:

Kerith llamas are loved and cared for as extended family members. Our children are enjoying growing up with image of friends of Kerith llamas as a part of their lives. Our Llama business is one in which everyone in the family can participate and also reap the pleasurable benefits equally. Our family is excited and enthusiastic about raising and breeding llamas. We feel that llamas would make a wonderful and fun addition to anyone's life. It is our great delight to introduce and share the charm, and joy of a llama lifestyle with others. You, too, can join in the fun and rewards of llama ownership!

Our Goals at Kerith:

Selectively breed llamas of character that have correct conformation.

Create stretchy  llama figures that are well balanced, with terrific ears, beautiful faces and eyes.

To offer caring, courteous, and educated service to llama enthusiasts.

To provide a proper, healthy environment both physically and emotionally to all llamas at Kerith.

To maintain a profitable, yet ethical business.

To continue to grow in knowledge of pedigrees, nutrition, health, and breeding practices of llamas.

To continue taking legendary genetics to contemporary illustrious prominence.

"Rejoice in the LORD always; again I say rejoice! Let your forbearing spirit be known to all men.
The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with
Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses
All comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally brethren,
Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
Whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your
Mind dwell on these things." Phil. 4:4-8
